Sculpture

Course Overview

The Sculpture course at KENCID introduces students to the exciting world of three-dimensional art, offering hands-on training in modeling, carving, casting, and construction using a variety of materials such as wood, clay, metal, and stone. Set in the vibrant cultural hub of Nairobi, this program blends traditional African sculptural heritage with contemporary techniques and design thinking. Students develop creative problem-solving skills, learn how to bring concepts to life in physical form, and build a personal artistic identity. Through studio practice, public exhibitions, and mentorship from skilled sculptors, learners gain the technical mastery and artistic depth needed to excel in Kenya’s growing creative industries.
