Course Overview
The Universal Design course at KENCID equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to create inclusive, accessible environments for all people—regardless of age, ability, or background. Based in Nairobi, this course introduces students to the principles of equitable design, ergonomics, barrier-free architecture, and inclusive technologies. Learners engage with real-world challenges and explore how design can improve daily life, public spaces, homes, workplaces, and transportation.
